I thought I was going to like Grape Nuts. In short, I was wrong.
First off, they taste like crap. Second, the texture is something similar to the crumbs and dust left over at the bottom of a cereal box. Third, it hurts your jaw to eat these suckers.
They're healthy supposedly, so I give them a 2-bowl rating.
I thought Grape Nuts were deep fried grape seeds. The texture is much more appealing than the taste. I'm sure i covered mine in sugar. I remember my jaw hurt like heck from chewing after i finished. It's the same kinda hurt you have after eating Corn Nuts.
The last time I ate Grape Nuts cereal i was probably 7 years old and it was terrifying. I ate a bowl when I had a loose tooth (stupid move) and got one stuck between my gumline and tooth and bled in the bowl. That did me in...
